| Methods | CNKI, VIP, Wan-Fang and Pubmed databases were searched for the randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about acupuncture combined with repositioning for BPPV. The Consolidated Standards of Reporting (CONSORT statement) and international standards (The STRICTA) report were used to evaluate the quality of reports about acupuncture combined with repositioning for BPPV. |
| Results | Fourteen eligible studies were included. Compared with control, the efficiency was significantly improved and the TCM symptom score was reduced significantly in patients treated by acupuncture combined with repositioning for BPPV. |
| Conclusion | Acupuncture combined with repositioning for BPPV has deficient clinical efficiency with good safety in treatment of BPPV. |
