Through the clinical study on 2362 cases, the article presents preliminary inquiry on the genesis and explicit depiction on the morphology of Yinjiao nodel, the acupoint phenomenon of body surface which is the long-lasting experience from Dr. Dang Weilin and his ancestral generations in Shanxi province. Yinjiao nodel is one millet-sized polyp-like neoplasm, or a group of them at the location of point Yinjiao (Du 28) on the frenulum of the superior lip
Au niveau du 28VG rechercher de petits follicules. Après stérilisation, excision avec un petit scalpel. +++ : 64 cas. (Disparition des symptômes), + : 10 cas (Amélioration significative), 0 : 2 cas (Echec). La méthode n'est efficace qu'en cas de présence de petits nodules au 28VG.
Purpose: To observe the therapeutic effect of the acup-moxibustion electro-diagnostic typing method on peripheral facial paralysis. Methods: 106 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The patients in the treatment group were treated by 3 different acupuncture methods according to different degeneration degrees of facial nerves and the patients in the control group were treated by conventional acupuncture therapy. Results: The total effective rate in the two groups was 100.0% and 91.7% respectively, with no significantly difference between the two groups (P>0.05), and the cured rate was 87.1% in the treatment group and 55.6% in the control group with a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01). Conclusion: Degeneration degree of facial nerves is a very important influence for therapeutic effects and prognosis of peripheral facial paralysis, and the cured rate can be greatly increased by difference ferent acupuncture methods based on different degeneration degrees of facial nerves.
To observe the clinical effect of bloodletting at Yinjiao(齿良交 GV 28) for hemorrhoid. Methods Positive points in the upper-labial frenum were found out in 21 cases, then after routine sterilization was applied in the local area, three-edged needle was used to puncture the positive points with 1-3 drops of blood out. This treatment was given every seven days, and 1-3 times in all. The clinical effect was observed half a year later. Results Fourteen were cured, 6 improved, 1 ineffective, and the total effective rate was 95.3% (20/21). Conclusion Bloodlethng at Yinjiao (齿良交 GV 28) can be used to treat hemorrhoids with remarkable effect.
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding and point Yinjiao piercing plus herbal retention enema in treating chronic anal cryptitis. Methods One hundred and seventy patients with chronic anal cryptitis were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 85 cases each. The treatment group received acupoint catgut embedding and point Yinjiao piercing plus herbal retention enema and the control group, Western medicine retention enema. The clinical therapeutic effects and the qualities of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total efficacy rate was 97.6% in the treatment group and 78.8% in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). The total efficacy rate for the quality of life was 97.6% in the treatment group and 76.5% in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Acupoint catgut embedding and point Yinjiao piercing plus herbal retention enema have a definite therapeutic effect on chronic anal cryptitis.
Objective:Yinjiao (GV 28),located at the junction of the frenulum of the upper lip with the upper gum,is one of the important acupoints of Du meridian.Based on ancient records and modern researches, according to its characteristics and the pathogenesis of acute lumbar sprain, this paper conducts a primary discussion on the theoretical basis for the treatment of acute lumbar sprain with Yinjiao, and suggests that Yinjiao is effective for treating lower parts by managing the upper, regulating Qi and blood of meridians, stimulating positive reaction points as well as regulating the convergence of Qi.The paper further confirms its effect on acute lumbar sprain,so as to enrich the acupuncture therapies in clinical treatment of such disease.
The lumbar region is that part of the locomotor system of the human body most extensively involved in daily living and occupational activities. Acute sprain of the region is a common occurrence arising from faulty use of force, carrying loads beyond one's capability, stumbling and falling, and torsion. In a dozen years we have treated 153 cases by needling Yinjiao (RM 28) alone and fauna the method quite simple and invariably successful, usually at one sitting. Our report follows.
